Originally built in 1910, the Avon Century Barn has been carefully restored to its former glory while also serving as a unique event venue for weddings, private events, and other special occasions.
With its beautiful wood beams and soaring ceilings, the barn provides a picturesque backdrop for any event.
Our team is proud to share this piece of history with the community and look forward to many more generations enjoying the Avon Century Barn.
Our HiSTORY
Located in the heart of the Genesee Valley of Upstate New York, this beautiful estate
has deep roots in agriculture, and a rich history of family legacy.
Our team purchases the barn, dedicated to continuing to keep Avon Century Barn open to the public as a wedding venue.
Claire, Emillie, and Lesa offer the beautiful home as part of venue, making a truly private experience.
Dr. James Andrews, a local veterinarian, purchases barn to raise cows, horses, & peacocks. The barn stays in family, as next of kin, fixes up the Greek Revival House in 1970.

The Wells barn is ordered to be built George Sheldon to replace their burned down dairy barn. The barn is built by John T. Wells and Sons.
The Howlett Family of Avon purchase the property. Sandy Howlett and her daughter, Melissa, open the property to the public as a wedding venue in 2013, beginning the legacy of Avon Century Barn.
A special thanks to Wells Barn History for documenting our history and the history of Wells Barns as a whole.

With over 2 acres of land, you have access to any of our three ceremony sites, our barn for your reception, and our Greek Revival House for the entire weekend.
Avon Century Barn can accommodate up to 200 guests, so feel free to invite everyone on your guest list.
